Peritoneal dialysis

Our peritoneal dialysis (PD) systems are designed to promote patient well-being and the highest level of safety and reliability. Innovative PIN and DISC technology with our systems ensure optimal exchange safety and improved compliance. Our novel PD solutions portfolio, aimed at a long term preservation of the peritoneal membrane, includes pH neutral solutions with ultralow content in glucose degradation products (GDPs), as well as bicarbonate buffered physiological pH solutions. The stay•safe systems for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) are made from Biofine, a non-PVC material which is environmentally friendly and patient protective.

Our peritoneal dialysis (PD) systems are designed to promote patient well-being and the highest level of safety and reliability.
Adapted APD

Adapted APD, or aAPD, increases dialysis efficiency with a reduction in glucose absorption.

APD

Automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) is a home treatment that can be carried out during the night and Fresenius Medical Care's APD products include sleep•safe harmony and sleep•safe.

stay•safe and Biofine

Our stay•safe and sleep•safe systems have a unique design and are convenient to use while improving patient compliance with our PD systems to ensure optimal exchange safety and improved compliance. This is further supported by environmentally friendly materials, such as Biofine, that are PVE-free.
