Fresenius Medical Care has appointed a full-time dedicated Global Head of Trade Governance & Vice President who is leading a team of trade governance lawyers and professionals. The Global Head of Trade Governance & Vice President is a senior position within the Global Legal Department, reporting directly to the Global General Counsel & Executive Vice President and with access to the Management Board. The Global Head of Trade Governance and his team work across Fresenius Medical Care’s business regions and functions in partnership with Fresenius Medical Care’s Legal and Compliance departments, Global Internal Audit, Global Internal Controls and other functions.
Fresenius Medical Care carefully selects and monitors its business partners and contractually requires them to comply with applicable trade laws and regulations, such as sanctions, export controls and customs. In addition, Fresenius Medical Care has developed sanctions and export controls guidance and training materials for its business partners.
