A truly miraculous story – 50 years on dialysis
For Susanne Williams, our patient from Adelaide, Australia, her journey on dialysis began at a very young age. At the age of 14, both of Sue’s kidneys started to fail. Back then, in the 1950’s, not everyone had the chance to receive treatment as there were only four dialysis machines in South Australia. Despite many ups and downs, Sue lives her life to the fullest and continues to go through life with a smile.
